Over the past year I custom built my AR.

This is what I used:

Doublestar upper, lower, and gas block.

Osprey Defense piston system. ( so smooth and clean. bolt carrier is cold to the touch mag after mag.)

Daniel Defense 16" carbine barrel w/ 1 in 7" twist.

Nordic components tactical muzzle break.

Hogue overmolded pistol grip.

Model 1 charging handle with tactical latch

Barska red dot scope

JP Enterprises trigger spring kit (trigger pull reduced by 1/2 pound)

And the best for last....... my Magpul parts:

MOE carbine length handguard w/ two 11 slot rails and two 7 slot rails

AFG- angled fore grip

CTR stock w/ .25" cheek riser

MOE trigger guard

ASAP sling mount w/ MS2- multimission sling system
